Don’t love theology.

Don’t love theology, but neglect the One it is about.

Don’t love spontaneity, but neglect the steadfastness and immutability of Christ.

Don’t love love, but neglect the jealousy of the Lord for His people.

Don’t love pleasure, but neglect the surpassing treasures in Jesus Christ.

Don’t love Scripture, but neglect the Author.

Mind, heart, body, and soul must go into it. Christianity cannot be a half-hearted plea; those type of pleas are rebuked by Christ (Matt. 7:21-23), and leads to being spit out if not revived and set aflame for God (Rev. 3:16).
